Navigator Credit Union Selects Lumin Digital for Providing Digital Banking Services

Banking CIO Outlook | Wednesday, March 02, 2022

Fremont, CA: In the last several years, digital banking, or the digitalization of banking institutions, has drastically changed the banking sector. Digital technologies, which were once exclusive to banking channels, are now used across the entire financial sector. So, whether it's back-end operations or customer-facing media, digital banking offered via new-age technology is the way to go for all financial sector participants.

Navigator Credit Union, also known as Navigator, has signed a multi-year arrangement for Lumin Digital's cloud-native platform offering web and mobile digital banking solutions, according to Lumin Digital, a PSCU firm. When the credit union goes online on its network in August 2022, Lumin Digital will support over 50,000 Navigator members.

Navigator selects products, services, and technologies that will provide its members with the best experience possible, guided by the philosophy "people are worth more than money." Its collaboration with Lumin Digital will sustain this philosophy by providing superior digital services.

Lumin Digital, as a cloud-native digital banking platform, offers members a closely integrated and tailored experience that rivals that of larger financial institutions. Lumin Digital assists credit unions, and banks drive better engagement with their members through personalized communication in spending insights, financial advice, fraud alerts, and savings goals by focusing on service, user-friendliness, safety, and security through advanced automation. Lumin Digital further offers credit unions real-time upgrades and new services to clients that add value and ease banking.

"Navigator's commitment to building deep relationships with its members, and its culture of a shared value of interpersonal connection, which mirrors our company's philosophies, helped make this partnership a natural fit," said Jeff Chambers, founder, and CEO of Lumin Digital. "Lumin's platform will provide Navigator with the technology expected of larger financial institutions but with a superior customer experience and a better pathway to innovation."

Lumin Digital innovates mainly in the digital banking market, distinguishing itself with technology designed for human interaction. To create a member-centric experience, Lumin Digital's product integrates seamlessly with a wide range of PSCU and other platform tools and capabilities, such as card services, rewards management, and data analytics.
