ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL: Bluefin Payment Systems, a provider of secure payment gateway solutions, introduces PayConex solution to deliver Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) mobile payment solution which forms a smart and secured payment platform with enhanced data security by using Infinite Peripherals (IPC) Prima M mobile reader.

Addressing the risk of unauthorized interception at merchant’s system, PayConex solution, with P2PE system, ensures the encryption of cardholder data from entry point at retailer’s Point-of-Sale POS system to the end of payment process outside of merchant’s environment with secured decryption. IPC’s Prima M mobile audio jack reader comprises three-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR) with Secure Reading and Exchange of Data (SRED) certification where the device should encrypt account numbers at the entry point till final gateway. The mobile reader is compatible with iPod touch, iPhone, iPad and all Android devices.

PayConex solution prevents data loss in case of electrical or physical tampering on Prima M mobile reader where a tamper switch is triggered to send command to MSR to remove data encryption keys and show the MSR non-functional. PayConex integrated with the QuickSwipe Mobile PoS system prevents data loss if a breach is detected. It helps businesses to mitigate their compliance risks while saving costs and time.

“The perception of insecurity and PCI compliance issues with mobile apps are major concerns for many merchants considering mPOS, and IPC and Bluefin have created an industry-first, PCI-validated P2PE mobile solution that merchants and mPOS developers can confidently implement to address PCI compliance while protecting their brands and their customers’ data,” says Ruston Miles, Founder and CIO, Bluefin.
