FIS Integrates with Avidia to Offer Cardless Transaction

HUDSON, MA: FIS, provider of banking and payments technology, has announced its partnership with Avidia Bank, allowing bank customers to go cardless and free them from visiting ATMs for every transactions and check deposits.

Using a secure smartphone app, users can access ATM and withdraw cash without using their cards, which is centralized to FIS’ mobile strategy. FIS Cardless Cash at Avidia Bank uses the security within the app authentication process and registration of the FIS Mobile Wallet technology on the smartphone that eliminates card skimming risk and fraud incidents.

The Cardless Cash provides secure mobile innovations to financial institutions and their customers. It allows customers to interact with the ATM from the privacy and security of their mobile devices, and delivers eReceipt for every transaction on their devices. In addition, it offers remote check deposit and person-to-person (P2P) payments including the accumulation of Touch ID and Passcode to give customers swift access to app features.
